Award-winning Brazilian multimedia artist Maurilio Moreira Fondevila will present Colors of the Soul, a book launch, art exhibition, and poetry performance opening November 20, 2025, at the Consulate General of Brazil in Los Angeles.

Blending painting, poetry, and performance, Fondevila’s month-long exhibition introduces Los Angeles audiences to Brazilian contemporary art through a powerful exploration of migration, queer identity, and transformation. His debut book features 184 poems and 16 original paintings, each forming a dialogue between image and language.

The opening night includes a bilingual poetry reading (Portuguese and English) and an immersive viewing of his colorful, emotionally charged works — a vivid reflection of Brazilian lyricism and modern minimalism.
