In a historic encounter of musical innovators from the Afro Latin, Brazilian, and Jazz traditions, Belongó (formerly Afro Latin Jazz Alliance) and The Town Hall present an evening of musical inspiration and genre-bending collaboration. Brazilian instrumentalists Yamandu Costa and Hamilton de Holanda will join Arturo O’Farrill and his mighty Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra to push the boundaries of their respective traditions, creating a thrilling mix of Latin Jazz, chorinho, samba, and other genres from Latin America and the African Diaspora. These three Grammy-winning giants—renowned as artists, composers, and improvisers—will perform together for the first time on the legendary stage of The Town Hall in an evening not to be missed.

The show will feature compositions from each principal artist, some with new arrangements for O’Farrill’s 18-piece big band.
